    Hi people,

    i wanted to ask for a few Ibrowse Hints with MOS again,
    after i found out a few things.
    After my ADSLv2 Modem broke, were i had 16mbit, and i put back the ADSLv1 Modem in the meanwhile, giving me about 6 mbit, my ibrowse ran much better.

    I atleast could use it, were it normally nearly always crashed eg. aminet/pegasosforum.de, everywhere were alot of small icons been loaded.

    Isnt there any way to avoid this? Seems like this may could be fixed, playing around with taskpris?

    I tried serval other stuff like, changing the max network connections to 1, using prefs from other peoples and so on. When i using my ADSLv2 Modem, ibrowse is not usable for me... :/
    Well it still crashes with 6mbit but i dont wont to go slower :)

    Thanks for your reply.
    So u have no problems with fast connections?
    Could you try to open up www.pegasosforum.de for a few times?

    I use genesis. Infact amitcp only, i dont touch the genesis gui and use my own startscript:

    MBUF_CONF Initial = 2
    MBUF_CONF Chunk = 64
    MBUF_CONF ClChunk = 4
    MBUF_CONF MaxMem = 8096
    MBUF_CONF ClusterSize = 2048
    TCP_SendSpace = 32200
    TCP_RecvSpace = 32200

    Its always the IbrowseNetwork Task that crashes (ramdebuglog)

    For a while i had it to 1 Connection maximum, in the settings. But this doesnt save me from crashing.

    I also noticed, that the same sites, that crashed ibrowse (lots of small objects/connections need) also crashed aweb sometimes.
    When Voyager worked nice (pre MUI 4) i never had this problem. It seems like Voyager was faster and could handle all this data.
    Also ibrowse worked nice on my A4K but i guess the machine didnt serve the data so fast to ibrowse (10mbit/68060 etc)....

    Well, maybe its just playing around with taskpris or putting a delay (somewhere) or using uae :)
