Scout not working anymore

    I've used scout for a long time, but since some months after a new installation of my morphos partition i can't get it working again. Starting is no problem, but even closing a window doesn't work anymore.
    I've installed identify.library
    Snoopium doesn't give a clue.

    A lot of people have read my question, but no answer. I guess I'm the only one with this problem?
    I tried a new installation, but no difference....
    HELP!!!

    Unfortunately MorphOS build available at Aminet is broken... it is probably reason. I guess I should look for new release soon.
    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1

    Hi all,

    That's right, newer Scout versions have bugs. I've version 3.5 with appropiate libraries. I did send a bugreport a time ago. Don't remember what bugs.

    Since my Peg II died I'm using my old Peg I. On my Peg II Scout worked without any problem. It is on my Peg I that Scout doesn't work anymore. Strange.......

    What happened to your Pegasos II?
    Died all the motherboard, or the CPU card burnt out??

    I sent it up to Vesalia and they sent it up to BPlan.
    The fan didn't work anymore and the computer stopped completely with everything. No video, no harddisk-activities etc. They repaired the G4 but I still can't link to to the HD. I can connect to the CD, but can't find the HD.
    The same HD works fine with my Peg !. (After switching the Boot.img)

    Still no luck. I don't think it's a bug in Scout, because I installed the back-up. And that worked fine for me till I got that terrible crash.... There must be something in my setup, but I can't find or think what the problem is.

    I also had problems with never scout versions, chrashed on startup.
    I downgraded again and everything went back to normal.

    Try to boot from your MOS CD and run scout, then you may know if its ur setup

    I tried using Scout with bootimng from the Morphos-CD and.... It works without any problem. Ater that I tried again with starting from HD. It still doesn't work!
    This is very strange. I don't no where to look....

    Mui classes, identify.library ...

    Check to don't have different identify library versions in Scout:Libs/ and SYS:Libs/ (or worse in MOSSYS:Libs/)
