I have an old cd with a digital road map off europe.
It is for a pc system with minimum windows 3.11 installed.
Is it possible to get this going on my peg2?
And which pc emulator is best for this?

    Consider an example...

Run MOL with MacOSX and VirtualPC,and see what happen...or i think GoolgleMaps show Europe maps updated.

I have a old CD with Autoroute and suprise, when i put on MacOSX i see Mac software on it an run natively on Classic

Maybie DOSBox do but i don't tryed

    Hi,

PC-Task 4.4 for the Amiga, i run Windows 3.11. For the Pegasos II,
i had running Windows98 with Bochs. Unfortunatly, i lost the last by
a harddisk crash. I'am willing to install Windows98 for Bochs again.

As Windows 3.11 is just an add-on for DOS the easiest solution might be running it using DOSBox Emulator. Never tested this though...

I found an old copy off PCtask 4.0
Installed it on my amiga4000 with a hardfile and msdos 6.22(4 disks).
Transferred the hardfile to the peg and it works..
That is the msdos installtion boots with the interpretive startup.
Only how can I add cdrom support?
ANd why can I only get about half a size on screen?
Already tried gscd.exe as cdrom driver ..freezes.

    Hi,

"PC-Task_Guide.lha" from Aminet describes CD-ROM support.
At the Amiga, i was able to acces the CD-ROM from PC-Task 4.4.
Windows95 was too running on PC-Task.

    Hi all,

For those want PC-Task with hardfile Windows 3.11 for classic Amiga's,
download from my homepage. In the PC-Task setup window, choose the
correct path for the hardfile and modify screen resolutions ModeID's.
    The archive's filesize is about 10Mb;

Heu :-? Don't you think it's inapropriate to put links to full OperatingSystems here ?

What if I put a link with full AmigaOS3.1 here ? (which has been released around 93, just like Windows 3.11)

Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

    Hi all,

A newer archive of Windows 3.11:

    http://www.angelfire.com/amiga/ex/misc/MSDOS6.2_WIN3.11.lha

I believe that it starts up in MS-DOS, I think you must type "WIN"
to starts Windows. As i stated before, it's a time ago i run it, my
Amiga is not working at the moment. The hardfile is configured with
Floppy and CD-ROM, df0: and CD0: Modify the preferences of PC-Task.

    Hi Serge,

If you just click on the link you get a 404 error but if you do a 'save link as' it works.

I just startet to download it - with Ibrowse 2.4...

Clicking on the link caused a 404 error. But when you copy the link to the clipboard, open a new browser window and paste the link to the url bar it works with IB.

With AWeb it starts the download just by clicking the link (but I haven't finished the dl though).

But to take on Leo's question.Isn't it a bit fishy to provide Win 3.11? It may be old, but I don't remember it being free.

or simply click on the link once (you'll get the error) then click ones into the URL string and hit Return.
