I saw this news about an upcoming 3D action shooter game on Amigaweb.net:
    http://www.amigaweb.net/index.php?function=view_news&id=531

It looked nice, so I dropped an email to Proostsoftware to ask if they mind a MorphOS version of the game.

I got the answer that I`m the first one asking about a MorphOS version, so it will depend on the community..

"..it depends on the demand of the MorphOS community. If many MorphOS people start asking for a port to there OS, there will be a port...."

What do you say? Let`s start bombing them with tons of requests :)

We need 500 people who want this ported to MorphOS. So far only 4 have requested it.

So, get off your couch and into your e-mail . . . :-P

I got a reply, he told me he needs 500 requests for the port to happen. I cant believe 500 Amiga PPC users requested it and another 500 OS4 people asked as well.

I recomended he build it for all three and then sell it as one version for MOS and Amiga 3.X/4.0PPC

Chances are the AmigaPPC version will run anyway.

Amazing news, for sure. What development tools do they have? Would they need a (now rare) Pegasos?
Also, where do these people come from? Do they have an Amiga background? I'm saying this because it's very, very rare this days that someone offers to port a game for this tiny market.

they announce an amigaPPC and OS4 version for the game on their website. So one of them should work on MorphOS.

Jupp3 : Proost doesn't seem to be a serious team... In fact, Zombies was developped with FPSC, a DBPro editor which makes FPS (and you must have direct x 9 to use it...).

So, if they thought they could do to this port... I'm afraid they don't know AmigaOS and his possibility (same for MorphOS).
