All right, this is a n00b question but here goes. I am trying to start QuakeMOS, or GL Quake, etc. but every time I try I get the error, I_error you need a valid hostname or use -ip' and that's it. No quake How do I give myself a valid hostname, or else use -ip? I tried adding an icon tooltype of -ip but that didn't work. I toggled the executable bit also after adding the tooltype, still no joy. Where do I look next?

Maybe stupid question, but did you try to run this game from shell
with "-ip" parameter?

Yeah, about a minute after I typed the above, I ran it from a shell with the -ip parameter, then it worked fine. I'm just not sure what to configure so that I can just click the icon.

Yes, btw, the Peg is online with DSL and MOSnet. It gets DHCP from the DSL router and it, along with two Macs and a Windows box, works just fine on the net. Well, it'll work better once Sputnik is finished but that's another post
