I am not really interested in that I mean, we are one of
the few desktop users that keep struggling with
ppc chips (whatever they are far better when it
comes to watts consumption). Who the hell cares
about that?. The most simple and important issue,
is to be able to buy hardware for running our beloved
OS.
>including Core2Duo. EFIKA is a lot faster than a similarly clocked VIA based board while consuming just a portion of electricity.
Talk os costs and availability, X86 chips win clearly cause ppc
can not beat such prices. Using ppc chips is like a knife cutting down our wings. The only part who obtains profit from selling this kind of hardware is Genesi, A Inc, or whatever you call, but not the user.
