I want to modify a jpeg picture.
I want to replace a part off thepicture with a piece off another picture.
This piece is no square box so I want to handselect (wit a line?) the piece to cut.
Xipaint seemed promosing but it saves in some weird format(.MPIC) which nothing can load.
Also the composed pictures saved by xipaint are not jpeg but something else.
Shame as it does what I want..

It's quite some time I used XiPaint. But if I remember right, it saves images as IFF-DEEP, supported by many Amiga Gfx Applications.
You can also install a datatype class:

Thanks it indeed is this iff-deep.

I just did some settings in the program.
It can save in more kind off format's.
Fastest is I think this .targa format.
But this is not really wide supported in amiga/peg progs.
Anyways nice program this xipaint!
Will email the author for a possible donation.
