Hi all. Yesterday, I was able to mount an unbranded internal memory card reader, mainly for use with SD cards. The device is recognized by Poseidon (stock version from MorphOS 1.4.5).
I tried both 128 MB and 2GB, Memory Corp and PNY branded, but they are not mounted. Poseidon warns about some DOS type or something, that can not be mapped to the "FAT95" filesystem I have in "L:". This filesystem works flawlessly with a Commodore (!) 256MB USB pendrive.
I've read something about a certain "March FAT", in another thread, could it help? It's still only or reading? Is there any other FAT filesystem available, than the rather old I got from Aminet?
I can try to format the card with this filesystem, and perhaps it works, but perhaps mi camera rejects it.
Can I build a mountlist file, to force this filesystem on this device? I recall it was a rather simple task in AmigaOS. Meanwhile, I've downloaded Geit's GiggleDisk, if I got so retarded in all this years of peecee usage...
