    Hi there,

Would anyone be kind enough to send me the MorphOS 3D update lha to me via email? (as I have no access to the FTP)

I was hoping to give it a try on my MorphOS PowerUP installation with G-REX and Voodoo3 3000.

    My email is:

    Much appreciated! :)

    Hi Dopish,

The "MorphOS3DUpdate_R2.lha" is the 3D update, i believe. If i know your E-mail, i will send it.

You don't need it. 3D Update R2 doesn't contain any updates useable for PowerUP users, IIRC. The Voodoo drivers left untouched, and the Radeon drivers don't work on PowerUP anyway.

sure, next time choose a more appropriate thread title unless you wanna see all MorphZoners clicking like mad in case something new happened with MorphOS.
    Tricky enough.

    What about TinyGL?
    Is tinygl.library v50.9 the latest?

Specifically I'm trying to get the GL version of FuhQuake to run. It says it's unable to initialise GL context.

In the readme it says a recent version of the tinygl library is required, with 3D update in brackets. This is why I was just wanting to look at it out of curiosity.

    Fine.

    Thankyou :)

Well, I got past the error I described above - I read that the default BPP was 24 and 16 is needed for voodoos so I ran FuhQuake with -depth 16.

Now it gets further; but hangs at a grey screen.

Maybe the 3D update isn't what I need, then...

I guess that's the generic response around here, even in IRC.

I'm never buying a Pegasos, for that matter. ;)

I'm only interested in what's available for the system I have, an Amiga 4000 that just so happens to be able to run PUP MorphOS. If there's something that can't be done on it, then so be it. I'm just making the most out of my classic real Amiga.

Anyway; FuhQuake doesn't work, but the package of BlitzQuake, Panoramic Quake and GLQuake all seem to work well - so I'm happy so far. :)

The versions and filesizes of everything in the 3D Update seem to be the same as what I already had. Thanks for your help anyway :)
