I'm curious about this DVI thing... I assume that the signal sent to the screen is no longer analog, but digital. So, I presume, all this talk about frequencies (analog) would not apply, and even ModeEdit itself (program to tell the graphics hardware how to modulate an analog signal, in order to make it fit the monitor) would not be neccesary.
Am I right somehow? Even a little little bit?
