I try to print from my pegasos2..printer is a epson stylus color 680 through the usb connection.
    Amigawriter prints ok.
But ...Fxpaint Pagestream3.3a Aweb Jano text editor doesn't.
Printing from a shell to PRT: works.
Strange thing is I believe it did work earlier..at least Aweb.
Installed the printerfix newer parallel.device(if it still uses that somehow?) and the printer.device which I believe I copied over from amigaos.
How come only amigawriter works out off the box?
Are all these other programs working on a different way to communicate with the printer?
Oooh Aweb does start to print but just garbage (a small square in the middle off the screen).

You could find very useful having a look at an article written by our precious doctor...

    Try with the following link:

He I got it to print!
It was some setting in turboprint.
Still not quite sure which one??
But I wrote down all I think what has altered.
Now I can print from Aweb and pagestream.
    Happy morphos-user again.

Great news. How is the print quality? I have my peg attached via parallel to an Epson 740.

Well not really sure ..I got to do some more testing.
Speed ain't to great takes about the same time as on my amiga4000 with spiderusb.
    Is the usb the bottleneck?
I could try the usb 2.0 card I have installed.
Is there much difference between a epson680 and a 740??
I mean faster or higher res.

    Quality is ok.
But speed goes down a lot when printing in 720 dpi.
Tried the usb2.0 card but printer ain't being recognised.

But 320dpi is good enough for normal prints and fast enough.
