Hi. How to install Apache v1.3.37 (or 1.3.31) on MOSNet?

Quick'n'Dirty Installation on MOSNet

You have to edit/create 3 files.

MOSNet:db/services

- Add line:
http 80/tcp

Then you need group and passwd file in GG:etc/ directory.

In groups you need the entry:

www|*|45|www

in passwd the entry:

www||1001|45|www|apache:|noshell

Check also file inet.access in MOSNet:db that there is no deny on port 80.

Go online and start the script. Be happy.

The file should be "group" not "groups".

You could remove the >NIL: tags within the start script to see what happens.
