I downloaded and installed FC6
When booting from OpenFirmware I get an error:

/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2978.FC6 is not a valid ELF image

Maybe the file is corrupted? Thew partition has ext3 format.
I would appreciate any help...;-D

Try this:
hd:3 boot/yaboot/yaboot conf=hd:3,/boot/yaboot/yaboot.conf

(Of course replace hd:3 with your own linux partition.)

I use the same but with hd:1, linux partition.
I don?t know why, but it doesn?t boot

I installed fedora core 6 from the DVD.
I use this boot command:

boot /pci/ide/disk@1,0:0 yaboot/yaboot conf=/pci/ide/disk@1,0:0,yaboot/yaboot.conf

(the "boot/yaboot/yaboot" path is not working here)

It brings up the yaboot boot prompt, where after a few seconds or if pressing the enter key, yaboot loads the default kernel without any problem.

David Woodhouse of RedHat just received his EFIKA yesterday. He will port FC6 to the EFIKA. We will cover that at www.powerdeveloper.org not here. Interestingly, David also manages the OLPC image...

The MorphOS-Team has begun to receive their EFIKAs as have many MorphOS application developers. We are still hoping for MorphOS to be a big success and we don't see any reason why it will not be.

In my setup yaboot (dir) resides in boot (dir) too.

I write this at OF, but fails when loading image:

boot hd:1 /boot/yaboot/yaboot conf=hd:1,/boot/yaboot/yaboot.conf

But there?s an error with the elf image so I suppose
I need to reinstall and repartition the HD.

I can?t manage to make it work. Didn?t have such problem with YDL4.0 nor FC4.
