Is there any program on Amiga (MOS) which can rotate the display with 90 or 270 degrees? I have a Samsung SyncMaster 910T monitor, and it can be rotated by 90 degrees, and I want to use it to edit documents or view web pages in portrait mode.

good question. I'm afraid the answer is no AFAIK. But better fielded by pega2, kiero, or bigfoot if its possible. I have an Nec 1810 monitor that can rotate as well and its really nice to be able to use it that way when doing gfx..

I don't know any tool which allows that and there are currently no short term plans to provide a driver for it. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a rotate switch in a graphics card, so all graphics functions have to be reimplemented in a way that they use lines as columns, and columns as lines .....
Maybe if we implement a 3D desktop anytime soon, there's at least a chance to make it possible since it's far easier to rotate 3d objects than doing it with 2d primitives :)

    bye
