Hi,

I wanted to know if someone could recommend a graphics program, which I would use mostly to "process" digital photos(effects, collage, etc.).

I've seen that there are two commercial altenatives (ImageFX and FXPaint) which look like they offer the same performance at extremely diverging prices. Is there any difference between them?

Also, is there any other program that could replace them?

ShowGirls has some basic photoediting tools.

I currently use it for some basic things like rotating pics, but what I'm looking for is something to avoid using either photoshop or The Gimp on my PC box...

ImageFX 4.5 is a good (if not the best) choise IMHO.

Unfortunately its GUI, is not "Amiga friendly" and if you never used it before, requires some doc reading first.

Then there will be Pixel.... when it will be stable enough.

Use the MOS-fixed version of Perfect Paint, it's a GREAT
paint program, and there are continuous releases to improve stability. If you are into layers-oriented graphics
try DiamondBox too from Aminet, it's a small 68k program
that works under MOS that could do for you.
