Hi guys,

I'm a NEWBIE here in MorphOS land, got a Peg1April2 off ebay and trying to get her up and running!
I have a PNY CF-Reader, and I have installed the FAT95 file in my sys:l directory, It read the 32meg card once after alot of errors in the USB control panel, but would not read my 512meg card, now it wont read either! Any help? Do I need to copy something other than the FAT95 file from the archive? Thanks....

Welcome to the community. Are you using the latest version of Poseidon? There are settings you can adjust there as well for better compatibility with removable media, read the docs.

Hi ZXoney, if anything else fails you may try on the
Highway_USB mailing list on yahoogroups where you
can receive support from the Poseidon developer
Chris Hodges and fellow users.

You may play around with Poseidons settings, an increased NAK timeout may help, also checkmark "simple scsci" & "translate CMD6->CMD10".

Also I heard some ppl saying it helped to reformat the drives under MOS (using the FAT format of course)

nak timeout = 1500
startupdelay = 500


single lun off
simplescsi on
fake inquery off
no fallback off

no initital reset on
translate cmd6>cmd10 on
better removable support on
debug off

Thanks Guys! I updated to the latest Poseidon and now it reads both 32meg and 512meg cards with no problem, even my USB Zip Drive mounts in like three seconds!
