I installed OpenSSH version 4.1p1 from
    http://home.elka.pw.edu.pl/~mszyprow/programy/openssh/

I chosed the version working without GG.

Now I just tried to open a session to my linux box by typing:

    ssh yg@hades

and I always get the error message:

    PRNG is not seeded.

    What is wrong?

By the way, I first sent this text to the mailing list morphos@ml.morphos-team.net
but it didn't seem to arrive and I realised that I stopped getting mails from this mailing list.

    I think you should use

    Code:
    ssh -l yg hades

    instead.

This means the port is broken and unable to get the required pseudo-random numbers...

Then I suggest you check your spam settings (or if you're using GMX or some other service with broken spam rules; switch service!), if that's not the issue I guess you'll have to resubscribe (see the mail you got when you registered the first time). You should have gotten a delivery failure if your mail-service was working properly though.

Unfortunately not, it is installed and the test tool rndtest even shows some random output.
    I won't copy/paste it :)

But I still get PRNG is not seeded

    about the mailing list.

I am using gmx, it never was a problem in the past. Is it not possible anymore to use GMX?
It is not in the Spamfolder.

And yes, I should have received a delivery failure notice I didn't.

No, GMX is using a broken service that blocks all emails from what it perceives as dynamic addresses (and even tries to blackmail the owner of the SMTP), it is utterly and irrevocably useless (until someone can convince them to stop using this service), I urge you to complain to GMX and switch to another provider until they sort it out.
