Some times ago, before Morphzone went down and several messages were lost, Ralph Schmidt come out asking us decide with a pool if we could be interested in a DVB-T(errestrial) and DVB-S(atellite) driver with recorder/player programs to pilote modern TV cards and USB dongles on Pegasos.

I am still interested and sure will pay for it.

    Is anybody still interested?

    Any info from Ralph?

    Any project advancements news?

Thanks in anticipation for any info.

    Ciao,

    Raffaele

    Go Geit go!!

Maybe Laire can help him with the dvb support. This application looks very promising and sorely needed for MOS.

AH! I had this link in my bookmarks since 2004. I believe it was dead.

Could we contact the author of valiantvision us all as being the Whole MorphOS Community... And perphaps offer him a bounty for this TV program? ;-)

Any person who could contact him and asking him to join this discussion?

Now that I have a TV card (working awesome in linux) I would like to see something working in MorphOS for me. This could be a nice app to have. Any more info on it? Has it been stopped?

Yes I know it works, I have it. I'm not sure if i have the latest version, but do you have to select each channel and tune it by hand? Its the only way I have it working so far and will take a long time to make over 100 channels!

Where the hell you're living? Even here there are only 33 programs in analog cable and the number goes down and down to make space for DVB-C channels.

Via antenna here is only one program left.

But to return to your question: No, there is no way of performing an autoscan. It was planned to be build in, but since I dropped the project for the successor, I never did.

Yes, I do! Project information can be found at

    http://geit.de/eng_valiantvision.html

It's planned to show the current state of development mid october on the AmigaMeeting in Bad Bramstedt.

    http://www.amigameeting.de

But don't expect a release soon. It's much work to do and I am not a friend of making fixed release dates I can't keep. So it's done when it's done.
