    Hi!
A brand new tool for easy copying CDs by Tomasz Error Wiszkowski is available to download on TBS Software website.
    http://www.tbs-software.com
Download and try it out! :D
I have just downloaded it but not yet tested :)
Mac mini G4@1,5GHz silent upgrade + Xerox Phaser 3140 + EPSON Perfection 1240U
    Commodore C64C + 2 x 1541II + Datasette + SD-Box

I miss draggable screens... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

i thought CoFFE would be part of FP. The limitation for non registered users is just absurd. I'm a FP registered user and IMHO CoFFE should be part of FP instead of being a standalone tool. Every CD burning program include this functionality !!

EDIT : i just heard that CoFFE is free for FP registered users. Sorry !

Where can I find it? I looked everywhere on the site but could't find it......
(Due to a crash I had to Format my DH1: with CoFFe somewhere on it. I had a backup, but still without CofFe.)

what kind of demo limit is that? No point in even testing this software, its made not to work!

    Hi Mark,

Do you speak of double layer support ?

If so, yes, Frying pan can burn this DVD until 7,95GB.

@Acill: Tomasz tries to preserve his software as he can !

    Thanks ;)

Truth is, there is no demo limitation that would suit you and me. I could make it burn in test mode, but then you would have no proof it burns at all (this is what people were complaining about before).

I believe it is not so expensive to spend - say - 0.25euro on a single disc to check out if it works (correct me if i am wrong), and still the program is shareware and i am not really after enabling all features in demo mode.

the limitation like this one gives you the opportunity to check quite a lot of things actually:
    - how fast the program will work,
    - if it can do two drives at a time,
    - if it will not hang the whole system (brrr),
    - if it sets speed,
    - if it works at all.

the data passed to the drive is a third party matter (believe or not, if it was wrong, lots of people would have reported me this already), the most important thing is how it interacts with the drive.

i think thats all :) if you have further questions - ask.

    cheers
    tom

the engine is capable of taking care of Blue Rays one day. It is a matter of writing the medium specific routines for recording, that should be now a matter of few lines (unless it is compatible with - say - dvd+r or any other existing implementation - in such case i would only need to write a subclass derived from the existing engine - almost no work at all :)

    Good to hear that. :)

I can imagine how I will write one day my whole 120GB mp3 collection onto one single disc :) Mmmm :)
