We don't hear much from MOS team sometimes, so it is nice to even have statement "MorphOS is not dead" once in a while. The below was posted in the "Will OS4 Survive" thread about OS News' article which didn't seem right so I'm responding in this new thread.

Some things really have been going on in the last year with MorphOS so no-one should think there's no progress. Look at Ambient and 3D updates and MOSNet release and esp. PowerUp release! It wasn't even a year ago that 1.4.5 came out, was it? So things are happening and hopefully we'll see even more progress soon, whether it is next version of MOS or KHTML browser or something else.

Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, but I had to run out...

Could you give any hints if Morphos(future development and releases) is dead too ? Just so people can get over it and move on ?
Would save people some years of 'waiting', guess people are used to it, but atleast they will know theres nothing to wait for..

    MorphOS is not dead.

Any bet that if tomorrow Genesi announces that MorphOS is dead, everybody will believe it and complain that noone ever said otherwise? :D

Could you make another page stating MorphOS does not break the GPL ?

Bigfoot, do you go to the Zapek school of web design? ;)

Maybe you could setup a page stating how many times Genesi clicked on the various MorphOS-Team Paypal buttons to finance the project like claimed ?

No, if I had, the website would only work on Microsoft Internet Explorer, since that sets the standard for webpages, and not attempting to make a webpage break in every other browser is stupid (TM) (C) Zapek.

People who are tired of repeating the same thing over and over and over and over again, and who in desperation inserts a <blink> in the faint hope that someone will finally get the message?

Are you *purpously* misunderstanding that "request"/idea (to fuel the hate-flames inside your head or whatever), or what is this?
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

Are you *purpously* ignoring that billshit about MorphOS illegality which came before the request (to keep alive the genesi-love inside your heart or whatever), or what is this?
