    Hi everyone,

I've just installed Voyager, and tried to download some files from
    aminet.
The dl progresses smoothly till it finishes. When I go to the
drawer where the file is suppossed to be, there is nothing there!!
I've tried configuring voyager to use relative and absolute pathes,
    and no change.

If I try to dl the same file, voyager tells me that a file of the same
name exists, and whether I want to overwrite it or rename it!!

But a "dir" of the drawer comes out emptyhanded... Weird stuff! Any
    ideas?

it's a common problem due to bad mimetypes configurations, usually those files are put in the Voyager drawer itself, look there to retrieve your "lost files".

Open Mime-Prefs and make sure that all "Types" with
a "*" are set to your downloadpath and all other "Types"
    are set to class.

By default this is set to ram: (iirc) so if you're looking
for your downloaded files you should look there :-)

    Hope this helps :-D

Yes, with the left button click, files are stored in RAM:
When using the right button popup menu the files are stored in the downloadfolder.

Thanks a lot for the answers!

BTW: is there any way to get a Voyager license, since you can't register anymore?

in fact, there WAS V 3.4.4 with older version of MorphOS (1.3 & 1.4), since 1.4.1/1.4.2 it has been removed from the iso for copyright reason i guess.

so, the tip is, get an older iso of MorphOS to get it :)
