    Building a Pegasos II here with firmware v 1.2 (20050808153840)

    When a Voodoo 3000 PCI is used as the graphics card, the system boots without any screen corruption.

    However when a AGP Radeon 9200SE 128MB or Radeon 9250 256MB is used, the screen is heavily corrupted but the system is still functional

    What is the fix for this problem?

    Incidentally, the early bootup screens are all fine. Corruptions starts when the Morphos butterfly logo is display and Ambient is also corrupted.
    Thanks.

    Try adding the command "wait 1" before "IPrefs" is loaded in the startup-sequence.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Ive tried Wait 2 as I have seen this suggested before.

    Any other ideas? Is this a known issue?

    Can the Pegasos be reflashed back to a previous firmware?

    Hi,same problem i have too with Radeon 9200SE 128

    mail to Bplan and get a upgrade for OF, there is the problem with the new boards.

    I don't have any problem from update.

    With the new firmware when is out, this graphic problems end forever...

    Until you get a new update make this...write a Cd with boot.img on it and boot with boot cd boot.img
    It works

    I'm having some trouble, but not very important.
    During boot, instead of the bootpic, I have a trashed screen.

    My normal bootscreen

    Is this a firmware issue?

    Ambient is good for me.

    @serge:

    no, its some bug/effect which appeared when u save new publicscreens prefs with new MUI4 beta. the weird and funky blinking stuff is normal for radeon when u boot w/o bootimg (which is the effect u encounter now). A solution is to use old env:sys/publicscreens.prefs file from some backup and don't save new one with MUI4 beta.

    @tokai:

    Hmm. I have the same problem on the radeon 8500LE, only colours are different, green instead red. I never used MUI4 on my MorphOS.

    @ Tokai,

    You are completly write about my problem.
    I changed the pubscreen file and it works great now.

    Thank you very much.

    @ deez,

    I used a radeon 9200 and had the same colours like you.
    The problem disappeared for the radeon 9200 after the file be changed.
