I recently bought Papyrus Office for MorphOS.

And I must say that I am very disappointed.

1st: The original cover is from PC version with a MorphOS sticker outside (haha it's ridiculous),
2nd: I order English version of Papyrus Office and I got German one, with of course German manual (I'm sorry but I don't know german),
3rd: The capacity of the cd is only 16,4MB. Is this real?

    For 130,00 euros I paid....no IT'S RIDICULOUS.

I'm really sorry MorphOS users, but I don't think to buy original software for MorphOS again.

NO! THIS IS A BAD MANAGEMENT TO INCREASE THE POPULARITY OF MORPHOS. IT'S TOTALLY CRAP.

    Thank you.

You are complaining about Packaging, a reseller mistake and "net weight". What can you say about its functionality?
Perhaps you are too frustrated to give it a try right now, and prefer to wait a couple of days... You are trully passionate!

You might not have received a nice candy package or enough MBs for the € you paid, but that's not the point here. Tell us if it satisfied your needs or not. If you want to a good mb/€ ratio you can always go and buy bloated sh*t elsewhere (m$).

the language is a serious problem though. I think you could ask for a return or change to english version.

C'mon Phantom, don't get worked up like that. I remember paying around $80 for MakeCD. It comes on one floppy, the packed archive being around 400kb. And you know what? It's worth every penny, because it's incredibly good software.

You recieving the german version instead of the ordered english one is a shame, but I'm sure that this will be corrected if you inform Titan about this.

Cool down, try the program and then see if it worth the money. Screaming and shouting in a rage won't help aside from raising your blood-pressure ;-)

Ok sorry guys, maybe I was too angry at the first moment I got the package in my hands.

Ok, let's leave the box outside (no comments from me), and the capacity (I think you are right about that).

But what about english version? Is there anybody that have english version?

I'm fairly sure that there's an English version. Why don't you contact
whoever you bought it from and explain the problem?

Mistakes happen. Btw, for a program like this it would of course be
'nice' if as much of the CD as possible contained clipart etc, but
let's face it, who uses such stuff anyway.. so personally I think it's
more important that the program itself is reasonably lean. :-)

Yes there is an English version available, as I'm using it!

You can contact support@titan-computer.com and I'm shure they can help quickly to get it.

You know, there are many schools that teach German, I really just don't see what your problem is.

    I like jokes, don't worry ;-)

I have german manual as you know, but the program is in german version too. I contact Titan Software and I am waiting for a reply.

I hope everything will be ok and download the english version with the english manual. Because I know that Papyrus is a great software package to have for MorphOS.

I was a little strange in the beginning, but i'm ok now. :-D :-D :-D

It might be a bit pedantic and off topic, but Hiroshima was 1945 not 42. It will be 60 years this August.

I hope "Hiroshima" will *never* be repeated.

I am waiting a reply from Titan Software, to download the english version. With the german one I can't do anything. They said to me that the registration may take 2 weeks... So I must wait.

I will inform you if I have news...

    Hello,

I think, there is no reason for new thread, so I'll ask you
    here...
Is it possible to add new fonts to Papyrus?

I downloaded the english version for Papyrus (since I registered my product) one week ago, but I didn't have time to test it though. But I think it's possible to add new fonts in Papyrous.

I bought it on Vesalia. Both english and german versions on disk.
Currently I see only fonts, that included in MOS distributive (MOSSYS:/Fonts). I tried to copy new fonts to this drawer, but no result. There is no way to add new fonts from Papyrus - i know it now. So, I can't type in russian (default cyrillic fonts are unusable).
And, funny story. I can print to prt: (from CEd, for example) and from WordWorth, but I can't print from Papyrus. Printer - Epson Stylus820/ColorIIs on parallel port.

installed with FTManager works fine with Papyrus. Thank you.

    @Velcro SP

    yes, i have same setings.
    When I press the "print"-icon, i see the print-window like a flash. I
can't see anything in this window.

    @Phantom206
