There's loads of printers out there now which can print straight on to a CD or DVD (provided you have printable discs of course), but is one of these (preferably more) supported by the Mos's TurboPrint?


And yes, I asked Irseesoft and am awaiting response.

I also asked ZedoNet (this is the new company name of Irseesoft) for drivers for such printers which can print directely on CD's or DVD's and I am also waiting for an answer from them.

Epson for example has 5 printers available which can do that (Epson Photo R200, R300, R320, R1800, and the 2100).

As per ZedoNet's internet pages most of the drivers for above mentionned printers are available already for the Linux version of TurboPrint, http://www.turboprint.de/printers.html so it would realy be great to have them also available for the MorphOS/AmigaOS version!!!

Perhaps more interested users should send an e-mail to mail@zedonet.de and aks for support for these new printers.

Zum R2400 ist noch nichts bekannt.

It means that the above printers should/will be supported by Turboprint except the R2400 which is not shure yet.

A new Amigaversion should be available in automn/winter.

Absolutely fascinating. I received practically the same reply today from Zedonet. The Epson R series were pretty neat, IIRC.
