I can't get any sound output though, even after enabling it in the prefs file; suggestions?

Unfortunatelly it crashes not only when you switch between fullscreen and window mode, but when you switch screens in general.
Also the powersdl lib included is dated, is there a reason why you choose the old lib?

Are you updated powersdl.library? With older version I have problems with sound too.

This is newest powersdl. Look at date of release.

Hmmm, now I am confused. I looked just at the Version Number and it says 10.1, while I have 11.0 on my HD. But you are right,, the date implies that this version is more recent.

Whats the matter with that? Just a typo from Itix with the Versionstring?

And any Idea whether you can fix the Screenswitch crash?

ok forgett about the screenswitch crash, it seems as it doesn`t happen with that version of powersdl

yeah, it was down to the powerdsl version; hadn't installed it because of the version number.

i tried "Faery Tales Adventure 2" which is reported to work but it hang the whole system here, must reboot :)

ok, this is getting irritating. I have got it to work with sound and no crashing on exit...once!!!

Everytime I try now, I get no sound, and crashing/hanging on exit or when switching from fs to window. Using the powerdsl that came with the archive and have the same prefs as I had when I did get sound. Suggestions?

Try switch core to normal. It's much slower but more compatibile.

I don't know what is happening with sound. Probably it's problem of PowerSDL. Anyway with 10.1 powersdl.library sound works in most people.

Hmmm, I doubt it's down to powerdsl. Got sound and everything working with 10.5...but only for one time again. Both the times it worked, I was running a couple of other programs at the same time, all the other times not. Guess one of these programs loads/sets/does whatever, making dosbox work.

I have a same problem with this DosBox as with previous one. Not all keys are working. I can't use any shifted keys.

You can configure keys. Default some keys doesn't work. Hit CTRL+F1 (AFAIR) and set what you need. :)

Sorry, but this Version behaves very crashy here. As I said, I have the included powersdl lib installed but no luck. Got the same experience with sound, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Switched back to 0.61
