    I used this:

    cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/morphosambient checkout ambient

    It's true, pserver is having troubles now.

    I'm using this (registered as luky-amiga), it works for me:

    cvs -z3 -d:ext:luky-amiga@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/morphosambient checkout ambient

    In what state the latest compiled Ambient is in? Does it still have the same bugs as when the first binary was made available.. problems with deletion, big icons, wbstartup etc. ?

    And most of all, is it still as stable as the 1.29?

    afaik it is not as stable as 1.29 or there would be a RELEASE..

    Luky is doing compiles just like any of you can do compiles with the mos sdk from the mdc.

    The team working on ambient is very competent and i'm sure will have a release version out in a little while :-)

    I don't advise to install current cvs version. It has some troubles. Use version not older then 12/03/05 or wait for bug fixed.

    Thank you luky !

    This is the first version after zapeks release
    I'm tempted to use as my main ambient.
    But maybe thats because I've changed the source-code
    for the first time ;-)

    #define SIZE_MICRO 24
    #define SIZE_SMALL 32
    #define SIZE_MEDIUM 48
    #define SIZE_LARGE 72
    #define SIZE_HUGE 96

    Robin:
    Just curious, but shouldn`t be , according to the various png iconsets, Large 64 and Huge 128? 72 and 96 doesn`t imho make sense.

    @Bladerunner

    You're right ... it's just that I've a different
    taste when it comes to icons ... that's why I've
    created my own icons ... and 96 was the size that
    looked good back then ;-) That's why I used 96 as
    huge here.
