has anyone gotten this to work on their peg?
I just downloaded it and it doesn't start. I searched here and no one seems to have mentioned it. (unless I spazzed out and did a search wrong).

and I have been trying to update my MUI files and, yes, as far as i can tell I have ttengine.library installed properly. the demos seem to work, anyway.
this PolyOrg didn't seem to come with any docs.

I had the same problem, but now it starts and I can use it now and compare it with EverydayOrganiser (Whitch I've used for years without any problems, both on my Amiga and now on my Pegasos)

    Long live Morphos (I hope!!!!!)

    Cheers, Tom

Works good here! :) Nice looking program. All I did was copy ttengine.library into sys:libs and the program started right up.

It's not starting for me either. I copied
latest ttengine lib over and it loads for
a second and then nothing appears, snoopium
doesn't give any clues. I am guessing it
could be an mui class it doesn't like.

that's why I found the lack of any doc annoying. it's always nice to know what version of whatever mui thingy the developer used to write his stuff on. :-(

    Hi,

Try to start it from a shell.
You will have an error for sure.
If not, send me an email I will send you the full debug version. It need serial debug or ramdebug.
But by this way I will exactly know what is wrong on your setting.

Why don't send me a mail instread of use MZ ??
I don't look at all forum everytime...

First, let me say thank you for making programs. such efforts are appreciated!

I just now (sort of) tried to start it from a shell, but nothing seems to happen. Let me say that I'm not a programmer and can be a little stupid about the magic that you fellas do.

I can make my own "magic" when doing my work, so I respect what you do.

I wasn't worried yet about why it didn't seem to work. Plus, I wanted to know if others had tried this program. Sometimes this kind of thread is good "PR" for such programs.

I did try SnoopDOS and it seems like there were few things that were wonky. One was that it seemed to be looking for the Cmanager lib.

It also seems to expect TextEditor.mcc
and I get a failure with
    ENV:CON.prefs

I don't have that in ram so I'm confused (easy to do that actually) :-D

anyway, I'll try to get as many of the things I see listed in Snoop and if it still doesn't work I'll send you an email.

I had to do some snow shoveling today (1st blizzard of the season!!), so i was a bit delayed in my playing around... :-P

Installed and ran fine here as well.

    Nice program!

We have quite abit of snow here in Buffalo as well, NYC seemed to get
plastered quite badly this time. I really don't like the snow, one or
these days I'm going to head south. :-)

    Best Regards,

Well I solved the problem here, PolyOrganizer
won't open on a 640x480 screen since the
horizontal toolbar seems to require more space
than that. I upped the resolution and it opens
    just fine now.

    well, i have a screen res of 1024 x 768, so i don't think that's my issue. :-D

after using snoopDOS and adding a few more MUI files I think there seems to be something not right with my TTEngine install.

    I get the following "fails":

    ENV:ftcodepage
    ENV:CManager/AvoidasyncIO
    ENV:CManager/Avoidgenesis
    genesis.library

and I don't have or use genesis, btw.

    Hi all,

I think that I found a bug (?) in PolyOrganizer. In fact the weeknumbers are wrong by one week...

For example week 26 should be from monday 23rd june to sunday 29th june but in PolyOrganizer it is from monday 30th june to sunday 6th july.

This seems to be, because the 1st week of this year is week 53 instead of 1.

Is it just me, or could it be a bug?

    Regards

    Christoph

    @ ThePlayer

Very strange! Are you shure that the 1st week of 2008 is not WK 53 instead of WK 1.

Please have a look at my attached screen grab, where you can see that the week numbers are wrong because of this week 53.

And if your PolyOrganizer is correct (I mean WK 53 does not exist) then do you have an idea what that could come from?

    Regards

    Christoph

    Hi all,

I just found out that there is a special setting to change the day when the first week of the year starts. In changing this resolves the problem.

Sorry, but didn't notice this before.

    Regards
