I have a question, is it possible to change the default ASL requester settings? I loved the ReqTools for it's settings... Now, when I open a requester, it's usualy a small window, where only few items are visible... I'd love to set it up to atleast 80% of the screen height. (I mean automaticaly) Is this possible? How?
as I think that ASL sucks quite a lot, I used to use since the Classic Amiga times "Reqtoolspatch", which does redirect all ASL requesters to Reqtools requesters. It works very good on my Peggy, too.
Wow! Does the ReqToolsPatch really work? I also loved the ReqTools... But... now I'd like to use more capabilities of the new ASL, like possible directory creation (iirc, this also worked in some cases under RT) and ofcourse mousewheel, which IMO should scroll only contents of the window, not to select it's items...
Anyway, thanks for answers, I will check it all out!
Reqtoolspatch does work great for me. But the mousewheel does not work with it on MOS - on AOS3 it did work - and, of course, none of the new ASL stuff works with it. But hey - you get Reqtools requesters, which do rock!
Well, if there are sources for ReqTools (I guess it's not under development anymore), it shouldn't be a problem to add more features like the mouse wheel. I'd say, that it's very simple to add such feature and even more...
