I think so many of us are feeling the same way. We bought our Pegasos boards specifically to run MOS on, and now the future of the OS is looking extremely uncertain, I think we're all feeling a bit upset and bewildered.

Too Right - I only bought my peg2
6-7 weeks ago. Upset is not quite
    the word how about furious??

How Stupid and Upset do I feel ????????

Has no one realised that Genesi have been
advertising features in MorphOS that don't
exist like TCP/IP and a wonderful printing
    system? (that doesn't print).....

    Under English Trading Standards Laws
I'm quite certain that I would be within my
rights to send back my mainboard and copy of MorphOS to Genesi for a full refund as it does
    not fullfil its advertised feature-set.

I am not annoyed, just upset that something I really believed in, and invested a lot of my time into developing for, was going to go have a future is looking less so.

Everyone knows that this is a specialist computing market, and we can't expect something level with the functionality of Windows XP. But we're hobbyist computists, that like tinkering, coding and messing and we don't expect a Windows XP anyway. Also, computer platforms have always been very hit/miss... lots of platforms have been launched without good software support and have failed. It comes with the territory of being a computer enthusiast, and as especially as we are, neo-Amiga enthusiasts. You've still gotten a decent system for your cash (A1/OS4 would have cost you 3x what you paid for Peg/MOS).

But there is still some hope that the situation might be resolved, so don't try to sell or give back your Pegasos yet! Let's wait until we have a final announcement from some party. And even if that time comes, I'll still consider myself to own a piece of Amiga, if not computing, history which I'll keep - just as I've kept my A1200.

Anyway, all I'm saying is that it's too early to make a decision to leave the platform.
