I think so many of us are feeling the same way. We bought our Pegasos boards specifically to run MOS on, and now the future of the OS is looking extremely uncertain, I think we're all feeling a bit upset and bewildered.
Too Right - I only bought my peg2
6-7 weeks ago. Upset is not quite
the word how about furious??
As it took me 6 months to save up for
an amiga-like machine and even at the
last minute I was having problems deciding
between an Amiga One and a Pegasos2
How Stupid and Upset do I feel ????????
Has no one realised that Genesi have been
advertising features in MorphOS that don't
exist like TCP/IP and a wonderful printing
system? (that doesn't print).....
Under English Trading Standards Laws
I'm quite certain that I would be within my
rights to send back my mainboard and copy of MorphOS to Genesi for a full refund as it does
not fullfil its advertised feature-set.
I'm sure european trading standards laws
are not that much different.
Without these features and a stagnant / dead
MorphOS - I feel like i have been mugged
as I bought my PEG2 by comparing hardware
and software features on the Genesi website as opposed to Amiga1 and OS4 and didn't
know about the missing and non-working
parts until I received it.
I was willing to wait for a promised 1.5 to
fix all these problems and add all these missing
features........ but this seems less and less
likely.
And no BBRV i will not stop until either I have
a definative answer on MorphOS 1.5 or the
£484.00 that I paid for my Mainboard.
So please stop asking me via pm
to stop posting my opinions.
