Try to set in Yam another color for the URL!

Wow, this is really hard to understand.

I only experienced "removed links" in an e-mail when I got a reply back which had the links marked with the backgroundcolour, so it was not removed at all, just not visible. I don't know if this is your problem, but mine was easily solved by changing the colour in the prefs for mail reading.
