What I have seen and heard, it's actually a step back from 0.91, so better stick to it for awhile :-)

DVD handling has changed, check the readme. Didn't tried it yet, though, just a suggestion. :-)

Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

    hi,

as you can see, it's still a beta, so don't complain about any bugs as
it will surely change with the final release.

the changes which i've noticed are a better compatibility with some
codecs (for exemple .mkv and .ogm are now supported)

.ogm and .mkv are not codecs, but container formats.

ANd .ogm is supported just fine with 0.91 too. And for .mkv there are mkvtoolnix ported to morphos already. :-)

hmm, .ogm are supported in 0.91? then it's a bit strange that when i
try one of them, i get video only, or nothing, or a big crash.
No more problem with this pre4.

as for mkvtoolnix, hmmm, it will take me ages to convert all of my
    .mkv ;)

.ogm files can contain different types of videos, audio etc. which can use different codecs. So you probably have a ogm file with an audio track which uses a codec whcih does not work properly in 0.91.

The few .ogm files I have here work just fine with 0.91, only subtitles are a bit desynced in .ogm files.

    The new MPlayer... great work!
    It plays the mkv-s!!!

I was able to play most of my ogm-s with 0.91, but now, I don't have to split-and-join the mkv movies.

    Thanks for your work!
    :)
