I have the very same case and cardreader here. I have no problems whatsoever with it .... (I'm runing the orginal Poseidon version supplied with MorphOS 1.4) My configuration of the cardreader in poseidon...:

    NAK Timeout: 1500ms
    Startup Delay: 500ms

Theese checkmars are enabled (the others are off):
    Simple SCSI
    No Initial Reset
    Translate CMD6-CMD10
    Better Removable Supp
    Automount FAT partitions
    Automount RDB partitions

    Buffers: 200
    DOSName: UMSD
    FAT DosType: 46415401
    FAT FileSystem: L:fat95

    L:fat95 is version 3.07 (2002-09-20)

Hope this helps...; It really works like a charm here :)

    Oh, ChaoZer...many thanks :)

Now everything works everytime here, i can even use one card in each cardreader
at the same time, using usbscsi.device unit 0 and 1.

I did play with the settings alot but I got some NAK timeout no matter what
i did, how did you manage to tune these settings so good ?

    Happy summer!! :-)

I tried the same settings with my MP3 player (MP EYE TS-300). But it didn't work after removing the player and re-inserting it. But I tried changing the values to NAK 5000ms Delay init: 5000ms and switched on Fake Inquiry, and voila, it works like a charm =) So the trick to getting USB devices working right is definately to fiddle around with the delays to get something just right =)

Speaking of USB, I have a 128mb usb memory stick (USB1.1) which automounts in Morphos. It works without problems, except for one thing: The transfer speed to the Memory stick is about four times slower under morphos than it is in Windows. Any ideas why?

Got another problem here: when I am copying a file from my USB key to the Pegasos (RAM for example), if I try to access the keyfile, access is SLOW...
For example, doing a list on the keyfile will take 30sec to list 10 files...
Some people told they could do several transfers at the same time: here one transfer is enough to prevent any other ;(
    (Copy speed is about 500ko/sec)

Anyone had a similar problem ?

    Leo.

I guess that, even if your stick is USB 1.1, the fact that you probably have USB 2 on your PC, it helps to speed it up.

    No, that's wrong.

I know there are several issues with the existing uhciusb.device (not of Poseidon itself, as the same devices work on Algor/Highway on Classic Amigas, but not reliable on Pegasos). Rewriting the uhciusb.device is on my schedule and will be included in Poseidon V3.0.
    Bye...

    @Leo:

I have the same problem with my Palm (used as USB Mass Storage). This works, but the speed is very low, around a few houndred bytes/s. I've tryed every settings, but it didn't help.

But: My CASIO digicam works excellent. The icon appears imediately, if I push the button on the camera, it is fast, works every time and is very realible.
