    Just kiddin, but wouldnt it be cool if tv-out on radeon cards worked, and you could watch divx movies directly on you TV set ? :-)

    In that case, what should we have as standard movie type?

    It's easier for me to subtitle these type of movies, so from my part it can die, but not too quickly ;-)

    Well, it's gone off-topic anyway ...

    The DivX company themselves are going in undesirable directions - like the latest PC version of their player requires you to have the Gator spyware system (identified as a Virus by some scanners) installed.

    Is good old MPeG that bad? I'm not up on video stuff ...!

    Back on topic...why would you need TV out?

    1. Get a VGA to component cable
    2. Get a DVI input TV set and use DVI out from your radeon
    3. Get a DVI to component cable
