    Hi,

    I wonder how to create CDs that are bootable under MOS ?
    Copying the contents of my system partition to a CD-RW apparently is not enough. Do I need special settings in MakeCD or a special boot image (as it was necessary to create bootable CD32 CDs long time ago...). If so, where can I find it ?

    Since MorphOS version 1.4 (iirc), you also need to set the "SystemID" field of the CD to "MORPHOS".

    On Amiga/MorphOS this can be done within MakeCD, on Windows, I found no other tool than mkisofs that allowed to change the SystemID.

    Regards,
    Leo.
    Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

    Most of them support it, it's just not immediately visible, as it rarely needs to be set.

    Nero, for example:
    open a new project
    file -> properties
    label-tab
    more fields-button
    there it is.
