Hi,

i have here some problem to install pegxlin.
After the comand "hdinstall" and some seconds later there is the install stop and
this message is to read.
"CP: read: input/output error"
Any idear? The CD is okay.

Go for the real installer instead, which you can find here;

Debian sarge/testing installer

It works very good, and give you the opportunity to install a complete system at once.

Just boot it up in ordinary way. The netinstaller is aimed for doing a netinstall, and you need to be connected to the net for using it.

If you go for the netinstaller just boot;

> boot cd install/powerpc/vmlinuz-chrp.initrd

and follow the installer.
