Hi!

Just released mDVD, a GUI for DVD playback with mplayer, available for download here

No seeking, no DVD menu support or anything like that...

Just simple DVD title, subtitle and audio track selection along with few options (framedrop, fullscreen)

So... Any ideas? What features it would need?

And please read docs for configuration (setting path for mplayer, setting subtitle and audio languages for selection) before trying to use it!

My RxSocket.library is too old (the same as in Aminet) so I can't start the tool.
Where to get the latest?

wel i get the gui but when i say play nothing happends whats the prob here with my peggy config and mdvd ?????

have you set the necessary tooltypes?

EXE=<path to mplayer> in mDVD

and...

DVD_DEVICE=ide.device:2 (or whatever unit you use) in mplayer.

Both are required.

Might also be that, your drive doesn't work too well with mplayer...

Well, I just decided to keep it "as simple as possible", only supporting dvd playback. Maybe I'll add support for file & VCD playback, but it's already so easy...
