    Hi everybody,

I want to make my own site with my PegII.
Never did this before, so what software do I need to make the pages and to upload it to the server?

    Bye,

On the Peggy, you will need:

    1. FTP Client, suggest ATC.
    2. Webbrowser, Voyager.
    3. A text editor, highlighting is great to have, though a simple text editor will do. Suggest, GoldEd, MorphED, or CED.

There is a visual webpage creator, MetalWeb, but it was kind of buggy IMHO. (Though, I really like it's concept and the way it tries to create pages.)

Pick up some basic HTML tips from various sources accross the internet. You'll have it down in no time flat.

    What you need is:
    Texteditor(CED,Golded,Vim..)
    Image manipulation program(ImageFX,FXpaint,PPaint..)
    FTP-program(Dopus,Amftp,ATC..)

There was also some WYSIWYG-htmleditors but they were not very highquality(HTML output was something what Frontpage usually creates :-) )

Thats basicly what you need(ofcourse you need to rent some webspace from somewhere also :).

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for the advice! :-D

Stupid of me, I forgot I've got NetConnected2 full version on a coverdisk from CU Amiga Magazine (or was it Amiga Format? :-))

I'll try MetalWeb and that FTP prog from that version.

    Bye,
