I’m very happy to know that you are using the OS3 and MorphOS versions almost daily.

I completely understand the request for a proper MUI GUI, especially on MorphOS. I deliberately did not base this first GUI on MUI, ReAction or Zune because I wanted to keep the same codebase and the same behaviour across the whole Amiga-like family: AmigaOS 3.x, AmigaOS 4.x, MorphOS and AROS.

So the current GUI is drawn directly using common Amiga/Intuition-style primitives, while sharing the same MTProto core with the TUI. It is not because I dislike MUI. On MorphOS, a MUI frontend would certainly feel more native. The main reason is portability, fewer mandatory dependencies and keeping the project coherent while the core client is still evolving.

Once the MTProto core and the basic workflow are more mature, separate native frontends can be considered without fragmenting the project too early.

Thanks again for testing it and for the feedback!
