I have a problem with Mixer on my x5000. I have a soundblaster live and everytime I change the mixer settings and save them, after a reboot of my system, the default settings are back. I doubled checked and the settings are saved, because when I shutdown mixer and start mixer again without a reboot, the new settings are active. Can anybody help me ?

You may try delete envarc:sys:xxxmixer.prefs (mixername (xxx) depends on your HW). Reboot and then save your new settings. Hope that will work!
