Getting poor gfx with Radeon7500 on Peg2 with Mplayer plz he

    I just got a nice Peg2G4 and was excited to try Mplayer on it. I installed a nice fast Radeon 7500 agp card.

    The DVD playback is very smooth and fast, the only problem is there is complete dithering and blockiness!

    On my Peg1 G3 Voodoo 3500 it was lovely. What could be the problem? Any help is appreciated.
    I really want to use this board instead of Voodoo but if this is how it is I have no choice!

    I did the same experiences when comparing DVD- and video in general playback on a Radeon 7000 with my old Voodoo3-3000.

    Video in full screen mode looks better on the Voodoo, maybe the Radeon 7000's _are_ bad cards in terms of antialiasing and de-blocking videos.
