Wayfarer 7.3 is now up. WebKit updated to WebKitGTK 2.42.5 which released just 3 days ago.

Primax: Do you have "Emulate Touch Events" set somewhere? If so, turn it off.

I have tried those websites and can mark text without problems in all of them.

I do not know if this issue is only here, but I cannot mark text on a website. Only a full, single line.

Could now reproduce the same behavior of Wafarer-Requester on the G5 in my second office. After installing new version of Wayfarer, requester is ignored, Starting OWB one time and leave, requester in Wayfahrer works normal!
If this Issue occours, filename has during download a cryptic name like 0000.xyz and changes to right name after finishing download. When requester works normal, downloading file has right name from beginning!

Somethings wrong with you whole setup it seems. Did you try on a fresh install of MorphOS?

Tried V7.1-backup again, to be sure, and it works as expected......

Edit: I found out something very estonishing: I tried now to download a file with OWB, and the download requester stands suddenly on the path, I have set as default in Wayfarer (CacheCD:), despite default path in OWB is RAM:!!! How can this be? I set RAM: manually in OWB download-requester and loaded down a file. Back to Wayfarer, suddenly the requester accepts now different pathes and loads down directly there!! What's going on here? How can OWB influence Wayfarer and vice versa?

I meant using the 2D acceleration of the graphics card. you mentioned something like that not a long time ago

Downloads always start in the default directory. When you use Save As..., the file will be renamed/copied to your chosen destination. This is done after the download has finished.

Now I had time to test V7.2. Unfortunately the issue with the download-path occours again - Path of "Save as.." requester is ignored - always saves to the path, given in prefs.

Btw.: this time I updated by build-in-function of Wayfarer - so it should be OK.

How can I watch youtbue videos in Wayfarer? I have a PowerBook with 1.67 GHz. I tried the pages www.youtube.com and m.youtube.com. Both take minutes before they show up fully and I can enter a name to search for. Before it the CPU is on highest load and the fan is blowing for a minute or two. On both pages (www and mobile) the videos always say that the video cannot be played in my browser. I also switched to spoofing as Safari/iOS or Amazon stick but it does not start to play a video. Spoofing as Amazon stick it shortly loads a fist picture of the video and then comes back to "this video cannot be played in your browser". I also activated the youtube-no-gradient script but it does not help me. How does it work for others?
But I have the feeling that it takes so long to load (minutes) that it will not play the videos at a good speed

wow! really nice update! The speed increase is even noticable on a 1GHz G4 :)

finally it s setting.json that cause me a problem with youtube
no crash with 7.2

Can't tell whether 7.0, 7.1 or 7.2 made the difference as I did not check it for some time but now national TV broadcast is working again too with it's menu on my G5.

YT menu works too now and all in all 7.2 feels a little bit snappier. Nice!

If you are spoofing as Safari/iOS you may need to enable Touch events emulation in Settings for Youtube.
