Made a lot of progress rebasing to WebKitGTK 2.32.1 (latest stable, from May 10th). It looks like between Daniel Kolesa of Void Linux and me we were able to fix the JavaScript BE regressions that have made into the source tree in the meanwhile.

Any idea why I’m getting invalid cert errors on the latest Wayfarer?

Yes, sorry about that. Here’s an example.

I just fixed this, I bet that’s the problem. Checking it now after the time set.

    Fixed, thanx a bunch.

There is something that bugs me.. Once audio playback support was introduced, I was able to playback mp3s from amiga remix. Since ver. 1.15 - or something - I have to download them, because clicking them, seems to be parsing bits of the actual file. I have enabled/disabled all media extensions, spoofed as all available options but nothing seems to work :/ Any ideas?

Is there anything that works to allow access to discogs website as there seems to be a DDos protection check of the browser that Wayfarer just cannot get past, well not that I am aware of how to bypass by swapping User Agent or toggling media playback/codec support options/capabilities?

Are there other websites that have confunded other users being able to access websites due to similar circumstances anyway:-?

Not sure why it's failing. I'll take a look.

@NewSense: you cannot bypass DDOS protection and it's highly obfuscated code (so that you couldn't bypass it, obviously). The only thing I can recommend is trying with a different IP address/network provider.

I'm not that bothered about using that site with Wayfarer, I just wondered if there was a way to get past the DDos protection, but from what you've said there isn't . . . it's not a problem to me, I don't need it, it's just that specific site I've come across that is protected that way, but thanks for the advice. 8-D

Thanks Jaca, improvements are always good, and I'm sure the few comments hide much of the trouble it's been to get it to v1.21 in such a comparatively short time.

Any chance of making viewable that To-Do list of yours and requests that have been made to see what's still on your mind as an implementation you've yet to do? 8-)

I noticed when I was printing out/saving as a PDF some pages from Google translate, and this applies to earlier versions of Wayfarer, as well as the current v1.21, that all that gets saved as the document is the header section, the top few centimetres. Are you aware of this, and is stuff like this likely to get fixed ... and any timescale you might have if you've got a rough estimate on addressing this issue.

If you can't save a page/document/news article to print then there's no point in saving a header section of a page as the only part of the whole document as that PDF. The only other option is doing screengrabs section by section otherwise.

OWB used to be able to "Open in a New Tab" such a page (frame), but that ability, sadly, does not exist as yet for Wayfarer.

Also, sometimes if you re-scale/zoom in/out of the page then as the document size increases/decreases then the page number does not keep up with the page count/number and you can end up saving a document of 2 pages when you've increaased to size to 6 pages, and end up only with 2 - unless you realise the mistake in good time. 8-D

The changelog will cover such change when it happens (read: no).

This is from my Wayfarer1 branch - simply because the newly rebased one still has issues to be sorted out.

@NewSense: I've made a note of your printing issues. Will sort these out for Wayfarer 2.0 release.

    @ jacadcaps - here's a bug I believe. Which I can re-create quite easily.

Open Wayfarer, open another tab, then close that additional tab, click to quit with the error requester to confirm Quit/Cancel, and then Cancel, so Wayfarer remains open, then try to open another tab from the quicklinks - the "+" add-tab icon disappears and the next tab never seems to open/display, that is unless you click back on the first tab when if you've chosen several tabs to open, as they didn't appear, and then you get a whole cluster of tabs, but when you click to close them the tab space does not clear/close back up to the next tab, until you click on another tab, but each tab, even though you've opened a webpage for it, you get nothing displaying of that website in the window, they are blank. You cannot use Wayfarer, other than for the initial first tab, so it's best to quit and restart it.

I don't know if anyone else has reported this but I thought you ought to know (email also sent as Wayfarer did not Crash so there was no Report to forward)

    @NewSense

I've had a quick look at the translate.google.com printing issue you've reported. Unfortunately, this is a will-not-fix. The same happens on latest Safari on macOS.

I'll report it on their bugtracker when I have a moment and let them fix it.

@ jacadcaps - thanks for checking it through, and reporting it to MacOS for them to put right, hopefully.
