This is probably more of a question for web developers working at Google, etc.

In general, there are tens of millions of devices running KaiOS so the user base is large enough to warrant some attention especially if you are targeting users in Asia.

Also, KaiOS does include an official Youtube "app" (fullscreen website) by default but not all KaiOS devices support over-the-air software updates.

It is rather likely that there is a legal agreement between the KaiOS owners and Google that grants KaiOS the right to use YouTube branding but also ensures Google do not break YouTube compatibility with KaiOS devices for a certain time period.

The same applies to Facebook, which is included as a standard "app" (fullscreen website) on KaiOS phones as well.

Finally, since KaiOS feature phones cater to low-end market segments, you cannot expect or demand that users pay to upgrade their devices since they might lack the funds to do so. You either test that your online service works on their devices, which might not receive software updates, or you lose them as users.

Probably two stupid questions...

1.) How can make Wayfarer open automatically the download window if a download was started?
2.) When I move the mouse over a link, I cannot currently see where the link would take me. Can I change that?

The ebay message images are not clickable in Safari 15.4 on macOS as well. Best report it to ebay as it's clearly not something I should be fixing.

Feel free to forward this to them in a support request. Those are the errors that WebKit spews out when clicking on images.

Does Wayfarer roll back when you install MorphOS 3.17? This is the first update since including. I switched from Wayfarer 3.6 back to Wayfarer 3.2 and now just noticed I'm running Wayfarer 2.10.

Yes, I did not feel like it's a great idea to mess with the installation script for 3.17. This will be addressed in 3.18, though.

Wayfarer 3.6 is now available!

- Added code to skip redraws of web contents entirely when Wayfarer is on an invisible screen
- Added an Amazon Fire Stick user agent to settings, works well with youtube.com/tv
- Removed 'Skip All Frames' loop filter option
- Fixed a possible crash in the MediaSource player
- Checks if a file exists and asks to overwrite in Download As.. requester
