I think it would be the best to make Wayfarer to use Unit 0 instead of using Music Unit. I don't think that many people are using Wayfarer as a hifi-player that would need an exclusive access to the audio hardware. In the most cases users would like to be able to output audio from the browser simultaneously with other programs in a non-blocking way... it's a bit wrong way to force users to change their audio settings for this.
