I'm no fan of cloud services - I don't like the idea of "giving" to others to look after (and never reveal or use in whatever way they want to, i.e. advertising/personal or commercial gain, highly unlikely . . . not really), so that's a non-starter for me !
If someone really wants to look after you, they can go into your apartment and install a trojan on your computer.
No need to be paranoid about cloud services.
And personalized advertising is better than random advertising.
