a) install it on an Amiga and transfer the QuakeII directory to your Pegasos
b) modify the install script so, that instead of calling qtools (which unpacks the pak0.pak, pak1.pak and pak2.pak files to your QuakeII directory) it simply copies those pak files to your QuakeII directory. Should still work, but might be slower during loading as it has to extract the necessary data when playing from those pak files instead of an already installed directory structure.
c) Install MOS1.2 (or was it MOS1.1) for installing QuakeII. IIRC qtools worked when I installed it using one of those MOS versions, but I might be wrong and mix it up with another program installation.
d) get the sources from qtools from Aminet and try to compile it for MOS.
