If someone wants to use mldonkey/mlnet, without starting webservers or such things, it's possible.
Start mldonkey/mlnet and open a browser and use the following URL:
http://localhost:4080/submit?q=html_mods
The HTML-mod is changed with that. Mod 0 runs fine with IBrowse and AWeb. With Voyager it is a little bit shifted, but it is usable.
If it doesn't work 'on the fly', quit mldonkey/mlnet and re-start it.
Regards
BTW: Are there any hints, how I could use PPPoE without MiamiDx? PPPoE is very unstable here with MiamiDx an my Pegasos (After a short time with heavy network-load the whole system freezes). Happens only with PPPoE, not with MiamiDx at all.
hi concerning your pppoe problems: i had the same problems over here. you can try switching to another tcpipstack, eg miami, and try different versions of the via_rhine device. if all this does not work for you, you have to buy a router. thats what i did. no more lockups, the machine is much more stable since then!
hi henri thanks for the above mentioned hints. with editing the prefs it works - but i only get an html page with some text printed on it, a single text field and an "input" button.
When starting, the upper frames aren't fully visible. Just drag the frameborder (the line between the upper text field and the lower written text) a little bit down, so you can see the links for working with mldonkey.
