I decided to give Netsurf a run on my Efika since OWB is not an option with the RAM limitations.

Upon booting it says that it requires ixemul.library, so I grabbed my lastest copy for the 68k Amiga and the docs say not to use it on Amiga OS 4 or MorphOS.

Using it only leads Netsurf to continue saying it is not there, so I'm wondering, where do I get a MorphOS version of this library. Further more, does anyone have any plans to update Netsurf to the latest version?

BTW, I'm trying to use the old 68k version.

IxEmul comes with MorphOS as standard. Unfortunately 68k ixemul was screwed few years ago and it is no longer compatible and it is not possible have MorphOS compatible replacement. So there is no way to get it going.

I dont have plans to update NetSurf anymore. OWB is so much better and runs fine on my Mac Mini.

MorphOS comes with PPC-native ixemul.library in MOSSYS:Libs/. Performing "version full" on the lib in Shell gives "ixemul.library 50.6 [notrap, 604e, morphos] (17.11.13)". However, NetSurf/m68k is apparently not compatible with this lib.

Old? The latest m68k version of NetSurf is less than a month old:

I meant I'm trying to use the new 68k version, but alas, looks like this isn't going to be a happening venture on my Efika. Thanks anyhow, it wasn't important, I was just seeing if there was a browser alternative for us Efika owners.

Maybe an older version of OWB is a good alternative? Up and including OWB 1.3 there was a "Lite" version with low memory requirements.
