Ha ha! got your attention how, huh? To be completely honest, I do mean it. I wouldn't want to see Mozilla on MOS, because it's big and ugly. I hate it. Always has.
I don't want a email client in my browser. I don't want a media player in my browser. I don't want to play games in my browser. I don't want an all i one browser. (you get the idea...)
On the other hand, i really like Firebird, which is a streamlined, lightweight solution, built from Mozilla code. Just to surf the web :)

Essentially, I agree with you. Firebird is definitely enough. A bit big but nothing so bloated as Full Mozilla or Internet Explorer..

I'd like to see a browser that is Java-applet ready... I guess that's too much for the time, right?

If FireBird is 101% compatible with all the sites of the web it's OK for me and I mean Flash, Javscript and all that other stuff. If not it will be just another uselless light toy like the browsers we already have. So why to ask for another one?
We need a complete working browser.

Has someone started porting mozilla yet? Too bad if that is the case. Because i'm NEVER going to use it. Not that im too fond of Ibrowse/voyager either. I hope for a Firebird port.
    Are there other alternatives?

To get Firebird for MorphOS you need a complete Mozilla port. Thats why I always saying, khtml would be the better choice.

Well, I for one, am not apposed to anything being ported to the
platform. In particular, I consider something along the lines of
Mozilla to be more of a reference browser. In other words, I doubt I
would use Mozilla, but I certainly would find it useful.

And a khtml.library as a web core would be the best of course.

Looks nice... This is what it says on the homepage:
-"progress on KHTML is going too slow, because the developers have too little time to work on it. If you are willing to give a hand in helping a modern HTML-browser onto the AmigaOS, AROS and MorphOS platforms, contact me."
